Creative Europe Culture Moves Europe
Divided into two strands, culture and media, the Creative Europe Programme supports the culture and audiovisual sectors as the European Commission's flagship programme.

With a 2.44 billion euro budget, Creative Europe reinforces cultural and linguistic diversity and increases the competition and economic potential of both the creative and cultural sectors.

Compared to other European Commission programs, Creative Europe has easier access to funding because of higher co-financing rates, emphasizes transnational creation and innovation, and targets the needs of specific creative sectors like architecture, cultural heritage, and music.

Creative Europe has a cooperative culture, supporting cultural and creative organizations from countries both in the EU and beyond, with the goal of improving access to cultural and creative works within Europe, and the promotion of innovation and creativity.

With the new release of the Culture Moves Europe programme, Creative Europe provides funding to organizations eager to host artists or cultural professionals for a residency project. Hosts working in architecture, cultural heritage, design, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts are all encouraged to apply.
